—About

I take software from a rough idea to something that runs in production.

I'm Ramya Lakhani, a 22-year-old full-stack and AI engineer from India. For the last 2.5+ years I've designed, shipped and operated production software: multi-tenant SaaS, LLM-powered assistants, cross-platform mobile apps, SEO-scale web platforms and data pipelines.

My strongest work is where correctness matters: secure data boundaries with RBAC, row-level security and tenant isolation, and payment flows that stay consistent when webhooks and retries arrive twice.

I use AI heavily, and deliberately. I integrate OpenAI and Anthropic Claude through tool calling, MCP and embeddings, and I run my own engineering through specialist agents with an independent reviewer gating every merge. I learned to build without AI first, so I know what to check and when not to trust it.

I'm looking for AI Engineer, Full-Stack Engineer, AI Mobile Engineer and SDE II roles, remote or with relocation.

Experience

  1. Software Engineer, Full-Stack and AI

    Cipher Craft Private Limited

    • Built and maintained production features across a multi-tenant commerce and CRM platform: 96 database tables, 257 REST endpoints, 12 storefronts.

    • Engineered payment idempotency and invoice integrity so retries and webhooks never create duplicate charges.
    • Designed AI-assisted development workflows: specialist agents for backend, frontend, security and QA, with an independent adversarial reviewer gating every merge.
    • Shipped through branch-per-task merge requests with human review, rebase workflow and atomic commits.

03Approach

Principles I work by

Tenant isolation, RBAC and row-level security are designed into the schema before the first screen is drawn. Data leaks are architecture bugs, not UI bugs.

Meet Kavi

Kavi is a baby Indian pangolin, named after Kavach, the Sanskrit word for armour. Pangolins protect themselves with layers of scales, which is how I think about software: security in every layer, not bolted on top.
